15/08/2009 As round two and three have finished for the girls, Palmerston North Girls High team prevail over third seed Epsom Girls Grammar with a 3/2 win and just narrowing losing to Te Puke High School today in the semi finals, putting them now in the position to play off for 3rd and 4th. The finals will be as seeded Waikato Diocesan Schools for Girls against Te Puke High School.

Rotorua's Matiu Te Kani-McQueen caused a boilover at the NZ Junior Squash Championships at the SquashGym club in Palmerston North. In the first semi-final of the premier boy's Under 19, Te Kani-McQueen beat top seed and NZ junior team member Auckland's Cameron Jamieson 9/6 9/3 9/0.
