Coaching Booklets Squash New Zealand has developed 7 booklets within the Coaching Booklets Series (of 11 booklets proposed) for all levels of coaches. The Level One Manual is only available to those who attend the district course (see your SDO or administration manager) and the Level Two Manual is only available to people who attend the national course (again see your SDO or administration manager). The 8 books completed in the series include:

Junior Skills Programme Squash NZ has launched a new Junior Skills Resource. The Junior Skills Programme is designed for junior players in clubs and schools. The seven level programme offers coaches, teachers and junior convenors a tool to encourage beginner juniors to up-skill themselves in a fun and rewarding way.
The programme is available through Squash New Zealand. Each pack comes in a folder and is designed for five juniors.
Each pack contains the following:
- An Envelope Style Folder
- Seven Levels of Skills
- Seven Levels of Certificates
- A Coaches Chart
- A Club Wall Chart to Monitor Progress.
Squash Routines Squash New Zealand now has available a booklet of various squash routines. The manual provides over 200 squash routines which can be practised by any level of player. The resource is divided into the six common squash shots:
- Drives
- Serves
- Boasts
- Drops
- Lobs
- Volleys
Teams Event Coaching Guide Teams Event Coaching Guide is a manual designed to help coaches in charge of teams of all levels. If your involved in the finals of the National Graded Teams event then this manual is a must.
The manual includes ten session plans, as well as four different training programmes. There are also helpful tips on the logistics of the preparation and tips on warming up and warming down.
