The World Women's Team Championships event is played every two years. The Championships are contested by teams of three women from each country, with countries playing each other in ties in pools and/or knockout format. The country that wins two or more matches wins the tie. All member countries of the World Squash Federation are eligible to enter a team.
The 2014 World Women's Team Champs will be held in Niagara on the Lake in Canada from 1-6 December 2014. The New Zealand team was named in October 2014, and consists of: Megan Craig, Amanda Landers-Murphy, Kylie Lindsay and Rebecca Barnett. The team will be coached/managed by Paul Hornsby.
