After the completion of the individual events the New Zealand junior men’s team has been drawn in Pool G of the squash world teams championships in Chennai, India alongside seventh seeds Colombia and 22nd seeds Qatar.
Leo Fatialofa survived a thrilling five set match to earn one last match of the tournament. Leo fought back from 2-0 down to win the third 13-11 and then clinched the match with a nail biting 17-15 win in the fifth set. Anthony Lepper lost in four sets to Darosham Khan (Canada).
Georgia Robcke had a gruelling match against Helena Coetzee (South Africa). She played extremely well and had two match balls in the fourth. Unfortunately, she could not convert these losing the set 15-13 and then going down in the fifth 11-7. Kaitlyn Watts and Diya Joukani lost 3-0 and 3-1 respectively.
