Tour Update

With events in Pakistan and Abu Dhabi cancelled due to different reasons, my tournaments in the Northern hemisphere have come to an early end. Its time to head back and put in some hard training for the rest of the year.

Rendezvous - Alex Grayson

North American Tour
For years, I have wanted to play in North America. Last year I went for one tournament and this year even though I didnt play a lot of tournaments but did find three that suited me to play in.

Pakistan Open
This year's Pakistan Open has been reduced to a 3 star event. I am seeded 4th here and hoping to make ammends to a bad result last week and do well here in Islamabad.

Karachi, the biggest and most vibrant city of Pakistan, is the host to the next event. I am seeded 4 in this smaller tournament and hoping to get past a strong field to get a win.

Every sportsperson longs to be a part of the World Championships in their sport. I am very pleased to be a part of another one in my sport. A breakthrough here would be great!

Wolverhampton Open
Photograph: The generous and charming Irishman Nial Ferguson was our host for this event. There was never a dull moment staying with Fergie and we had an absolute ball. A keen, fast improving Squash player and a passionate member of the Squash Club, Fergie made sure our stay was very comfortable. Hopefully we will see him in NZ next year.
