Confident Start for King

New Zealand's Joelle King has cruised into the second round of the Women's World Squash Championships in Penang.

The fifth seeded Kiwi was too good for Welsh qualifier Tesni Evans, taking just 30 minutes to win 11-3, 11-5, 11-8.

King will face Egypt's Omneya Abdel Kawy in the second round tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Kiwi qualifier Megan Craig is in first round action later today, taking on English 9th seed Jenny Duncalf.
