King breaks into top four

A major milestone for New Zealand squash star Joelle King.

The 25-year-old has reached a career high number four in the WSA world rankings, leapfrogging England's Alison Waters.  King has been edging closer and closer to Waters on ranking points in recent months and finally tipped the balance after making the quarterfinals of the Women's World Championships in Penang.

By breaking into the top four, King should receive more favorable draws in upcoming WSA ev2011 Joelle King Decents.

Meanwhile, fellow Kiwi Megan Craig has also attained a new career high after qualifying for the main draw in Penang, climbing five places to number 41 on the April list, while Kylie Lindsay is at number 52 and Amanda Landers Murphy is another two places back at number 54 in the world.

Not to be outdone, there is also plenty of positive news for New Zealand's top men.

Campbell Grayson has bounced up three places to number 40 on the PSA rankings while Martin Knight has edged up one to 49 and Paul Coll has reached a new career high of 86.
