Palmer wins Australian Title

New Zealand's Abbie Palmer has added another Australian Junior Open squash title to her tally. 

The Kiwi teenager has won the under 17 girls title for the second year in a row, with a comprehensive 3/0 thrashing of second seed Tiana Saxby in the final of the tournament in Geelong.

Palmer was simply too good for her Aussie rival in the title decider, romping to an 11-3, 11-1, 11-3 victory.

Meanwhile, Scott Galloway has fallen just short of making it two titles for New Zealand at the tournament.

The 16-year-old Kiwi opted not to defend his title in the under 17 boys division, choosing instead to play in the glamour under 19 event where he has been beaten in the final by Australian Sam Ejtemai.

Galloway fought hard in the title decider, but was unable to take a game off the top seed, going down 11-5, 11-8, 11-5.
