Four medals for Team NZ in Malaysia

Team NZ has picked up four medals at the Tri Nations Squash Doubles overnight, with the chance of more to come.

Two of those medals were picked up in an extremely tight men's doubles final, in which top New Zealand combination Martin Knight & Campbell Grayson just edged their younger compatriots Paul Coll & Lance Beddoes 11-8 5-11 11-8 in 85 minutes of court time.

A similarly close Mixed Doubles final went the way of Indians Saurav Ghosal & Dipika Pallikal over defending Commonwealth silver medallists Martin Knight & Joelle King 9-11 11-8 11-7 in 80 minutes.  The other Kiwi mixed doubles pairs placed third, sixth and seventh.

The women's doubles final play-off matches will be played tomorrow, with NZ hopes resting on the shoulders of Joelle King & Amanda Landers-Murphy who are up against the Indian pair of Dipika Pallikal and Joshana Chipanna.
