Entries open for NZ-based WSF junior circuit events

Entries are open for the two New Zealand-based WSF junior world circuit events in April this year.

This year's NZ Junior Open (10-12 April at Timaru Squash Club) and Oceania Junior Championships (17-19 April at Squash City Invercargill) have been registered as WSF World Junior Circuit events.

As a result, players will receive world junior ranking points for playing in these events.  This makes the events attractive to overseas players, providing an excellent test for New Zealand players, as well as invaluable international exposure (vital to ensure New Zealand players are adequately prepared for World Junior Championships).Oceania Squash Logo

The Australia Junior Open is also being held in that period - the week before the NZJO (3-5 April).

To enter World Junior Circuit events (as with all World Squash Federation events), players need a 'SPIN number'.  SPIN numbers can be attained from the World Squash Federation website, and stay with a player for the rest of their life.  SPIN numbers make it easy to enter future WSF events, and provide a number of other benefits (including eligibility for world junior ranking positions).

Players can not enter the Oceania Junior Championships or Australia Junior Open, or the Open draws of the NZ Junior Open, events without a SPIN number.

New Zealand players can register for the NZ Junior Open and Oceania Junior Championships the usual way (emailing the club with DOB, SPIN number and other important details), OR by filling out an entry form.  Australia Junior Open entries can be registered here.
