iSquash Upgrades

Recently a number of changes were introduced to the Administration and Interclub Modules in iSquash. A summary of the changes are listed below and new manuals will be released shortly with additional information about these changes.

Administration Modules - Club, Member and National

The changes primarily relate to the booking and reservation functions which include additional features and configuration options. All existing data has been converted to the new format but there is now a broader range of options available to club administrators (the most obvious change is the look of the new pages).

The changes also relate to access / security and Pay-to-Play functions offering more flexibility for payment and booking options.

Interclub Module

New features have been introduced to the Interclub Modules as a result of feedback from interclub organisers around the country. The changes provide more flexibility and options for users to create interclub events. There is also an option to use a new “Event Management” function that will enable organisers to automatically create a draw within iSquash.

The main features of the Interclub upgrade include:

  • Cycle reversal – venue allocation in the second round of an event are the reverse of the first round
  • Copy teams from previous events
  • Copy venues from previous events – note will only be for events created from this point onwards
  • Hide an event until the public flag is checked
  • Seedings can now be done on sum or average
  • Page default – reverts to previous page viewed
  • Team maintenance - mandatory fields have been updated for team entry
  • Results entry - once results are entered “delete player” is disabled
  • Create tie - these can now be created without teams or a venue being allocated (i.e. semi-finals or finals)
  • Result card - a result can be excluded (the result goes to the grading but not the ladder)
  • Single venue allocation - a new function to create the draw where all matches in a round for one division are played at one venue (note: a venue must have enough courts to do this)
  • Reports - new reports that exports details of team captains and teams
  • Closing date - this has been changed to the end of the day rather than the beginning
