Squash Clubs Save $ on running costsAlex Squash Cllub

A number of Squash Clubs around New Zealand have freed up more money for squash-related activities by becoming more efficient with electricity, waste and water through LiteClub.

Now with extra funding Sam Maclean, Head of Operations at Liteclub, is excited about the prospect of reaching more squash clubs to help them save money.

What is LiteClub?

Operating as a charitable trust (Project Litefoot) since 2011 and with thanks to a number of community supporters, LiteClub is a FREE service (no catches) designed to help clubs save money whilst becoming more environmentally friendly.

How does LiteClub work?

Clubs register online via the LiteClub website and are visited by a LiteClub team member who installs electricity, water and waste-saving devices) during the visit. During this time they will audit the building to provide a detailed report on areas where further savings and upgrades could be made.

Who has used LiteClub?

As at 15 May, LiteClub had visited a total of 39 Squash Clubs throughout the country and saved an estimated $4773.00 per club.

When will LiteClub next be in my area?

Liteclub will be visiting clubs in the following months:

  • Auckland - June
  • Waikato and Bay of Plenty - July
  • Central - July
  • Wellington - August
  • Canterbury, Midlands, Otago and Southland - September

Clubs that are interested in receiving this free offer are encouraged to register by gonig to: http://liteclub.org/register-your-club

We look forward to seeing more Squash Clubs take up this excellent offer!
