Palmer Left Standing at World Junior ChampsSquash Netherlands

Abbie Palmer is our only kiwi player left standing to compete in the final day of the World Junior Championships in Eindhoven in the Netherlands.

Palmers first opponent of the morning never stepped on court with her pulling out late the night before. This left Palmer time to recoup and get ready for her game later that day. She came up against Lucy Turmel of England. Palmer made sure to not let Turmel get ahead of her and Palmer capitalised choosing the right shots to gain her spot in the special plate. Palmer will now face Andrea Jia Qi Lee of Malaysia in the final of the Special Plate.Lee had no game that afternoon after her opponent pulled out.

Earlier that morning Kaitlyn Watts took on Akanksha Salunkhe of India. Watts just couldn't find her stride in this match and even with some great shot play she went down in a valiant 3 setter.
