NZSSSA Trans-Tasman Results

New Zealand has managed to claim victory over their Australian counterparts in the 2015 NZSSSA Trans-Tasman Test.

Whilst the final results are not in the 4 days of play between Australia and New Zealand saw a convincing win for the New Zealand Secondary Schools Trans-Tasman Team. 

Nic Dann one of the managers said it was pleasing to see some great depth in our teams and that the New Zealand club structure that looks after developing juniors, and the number of tournaments both for juniors, as well as juniors being able to enter Open's with the adults, has resulted in very high performing juniors. The selectors for the NZSSSA team could have chosen any one of 12 players on the shortlist for the team and not been adversely affected in terms of performance.

She also noted there were a number of clubs from smaller regions being well represented i.e Whangarei, Te Puke and Marlborough.
