District CoachForce Applications Open

Regional District Associations are currently planning for the next 12 months of CoachForce to help recruit, train and retain coaches in squash.

The belief behind CoachForce is the more quality coaches there are, the more opportunities and better experiences exist for people to participate in squash within the community.

District CoachForce Officers have been working alongside coaches in local squash clubs and schools to provide further learning and development for our many squash coaches throughout New Zealand over the past 6 years. They have provided learning via modules on the coach development framework; facilitated discussions and provided demonstrations at workshops; provided on-court practical support and mentoring and offered assistance with planning and the use of Kiwi Squash and Squash Start resources.

From volunteers parents who coach because ‘no one else will take the team’, to the seasoned premier coach, there is a lot we can learn from and share with each other.
