Upsets in Boys Under 19 at North Island Age Groups 

The biggest upsets of the North Island Junior Age Group Championships being held at Geyser City with support from Ti Street have come in the Boys Under 19 draw. Tyler Ranger and Mitchell Kempton have both taken down their higher seeded opponents Matthew Lucente and Jayden Millard.

In the Girls Under 19 draw Ellie Epke has retained her top seeded position whilst Abbie Palmer has managed to beat her higher seeded opponent Kaitlyn Watts. Palmer and Epke have faced off a number of times before so it is certain to be a good battle between these two.

In the Under 17 girls draw top seed and local player Nadia Hubbard will face off against second seed Courtney Trail whilst in the boys draw Gabe Yam and Temwa Chileshe have retained their top seedings. Top seed Glenn Templeton has made his way to the final of the Boys Under 15 whilst Leo Fatialofa has made his way through by beating Logan Webber. Anika Jackson and Annaleise Faint have retained their seedings in the Girls Under 15 draw and will battle it out for the 2016 title.

In the Boys Under 13 Mason Smales and Joe Smythe will battle it out for the titles whilst in the Girls Under 13 Natalie Sayes and Sophie Hodges will battle it out for the title. The youngest players competing this weekend will see Maia Smales and Ella Lash battling out the Under 11 Girls title whilst Flynn Venmore and Freddie Jameson will battle it out for the Under 11 Boys title.

It is set to be a top afternoon of squash and we thank the Geyser City Squash Club for undertaking the mammoth task.
