Under 23 Championships Kick-Off TonightNew Squash NZ Logo Horizontal Small

The New Zealand Under 23 Championships kick off tonight at the Timaru Squash Club. Chris Van Der Salm will be looking to reclaim the title he won in 2015 whilst a new name will be set to take the Women's trophy with Casey Owen seeded to take the top spot.

In the Men's Open Chris Van Der Salm is top seed and is looking to hold onto the title he won in 2015. Should all go to seeding he will face Scott Galloway who will be looking to make his mark after his recent return from the World Junior Champs in Poland. Sion Wiggin and Jayden Millard take the 3rd and 4th seeds respectively. 

In the Women's Open Casey Owen takes the top spot and is due to face Zoe Dykzeul in the final if everything goes to plan. Dykzeul is set to face Emily Flett in the Semi-Finals with Flett taking 3rd seed. Owen will be due to face Emily Woodworth in the semi-final with Woodworth taking 4th seed.
