About the role
Reporting to the CEO, the Communications & Support Manager is responsible for the successful planning and creation of engaging, informative and relevant editorial and digital media content relating to all aspects of squash throughout New Zealand (participation, events and high performance). The role is Auckland based but some national travel will be required to attend key events (4-6 a year). The successful candidate will be positive, proactive and have the skills and drive to work in partnership with squash districts, clubs and the wider squash community to increase the visibility of squash in New Zealand

We are looking for coaches to create a high-performance environment that is cohesive, inclusive, supports growth and produces athletes capable of learning and succeeding on the world stage as per the goals of the high-performance mission.

Coaches must demonstrate alignment to Squash New Zealand’s coaching attributes, core beliefs and the values of Haeta Poiatu.
The JDS squad is entry to the Squash NZ Performance Pathway for competitive squash players with HP aspirations and learning the foundations of performance. Approximately 12-15 years of age.
The Elite squad (former Emerging Squad) is introduction to HP environments and international competition for athletes demonstrating potential for future high-performance involvement. Tracking towards national team representation in 1-3 years’ time. Athletes aged 13-16.
The World Junior Squad (former Elite Squad) is preparation for the world junior championships and transition to full time high-performance training
