Grayson Makes Semi-Finals in Canada

New Zealand Commonwealth Games squash team member Campbell Grayson has scored his second top win at the US$50,000 Canada Cup in Toronto.

The 31-year-old from Auckland who is based in the United States and has a current ranking of 41 won his first round matches over fourth seed Leo Au (Hong Kong) in straight games and yesterday afternoon defeated Scottish veteran, the fifth-seeded Alan Clyne in four games 11-4 5-11 11-8 11-7 in 60 minutes to make the tournament semifinal.

Grayson is now set to play second-seeded Ryan Cuskelly from Australia for a place in the final.

Grayson is part of the seven-player New Zealand team which features highly ranked Joelle King and Paul Coll which will compete at the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast in April and has several medals as its target.
