Final Send Off For CWG 2018 Team

The 2018 Commonwealth Games Team will be holding a final Q&A night prior to the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games at the Howick Squash Club on the Wednesday 28th March from 6pm. Come along and see the team, wish them luck and find out what makes them tick before one of the biggest events of their lives.

This will be the final opportunity to come and see the players and find out what they have done for training in the lead up to the Games, to ask them those hard-hitting questions and get to rub shoulders with some of New Zealand’s best Squash Players!

The Howick Squash Club will be open from 6pm to come down and mingle with the players and have some snacks and drinks for purchase. There will be a question and answer session from 6:30pm-7:30pm and then a last opportunity to meet the players and wish them well before they depart.

This event ties in with the Howick Squash Club having recently upgraded their facilities and awaiting the installation of the first Interactive Squash system in New Zealand!

There is no cost to attend this event so come down and make the most of seeing our top players. If you are unable to attend the event in person the event will be LiveStreamed on the Squash New Zealand Facebook page for everyone to join in. Livestreaming will begin at 6:30pm.

Our MC for the night will be Dave Worsley our Media Manager for the Commonwealth Games 2018. Dave has an extensive knowledge of the Commonwealth and Olympic Games having been involved in several of these events previously. Dave has also worked extensively on promoting squash throughout the past 12 months and will be looking to continue this at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

So get along for this exciting event!
