Finalists found at Teams Event

The finalists in the Junior National Inter District teams Event have been found at Remuera Rackets Club.

As expected, Auckland and Waikato will meet in the girls' final.  The two top seeded teams came through round-robin play in their respective pools unscathed, and will play off on Wednesday morning in the final.

Bay of Plenty will come up against Canterbury to decide third and fourth place.  Both of these teams suffered just a single loss in pool play.

Playing off for fifth and sixth will be Northland and Central, while Wellington and Southland will battle it out for seventh position.

There were countbacks aplenty in the boys' pools, although the top seeds (BOP and Central) were clearcut winners in each pool and will play off for the Championship tomorrow.

Wellington and Eastern are in the third place playoff, and Northland will come up against Canterbury in the playoff for fifth.  Auckland and Waikato will contest the seventh place playoff.
