Racketlon Trans-Tasman Test Series 16/17 April

The New Zealand Racketlon Team recently went to Melbourne to compete against their Australian counterparts. The team competed in four of the most popular racket sports (table tennis,badminton, squash, and tennis).
The New Zealand Racketlon Team for this tournament consisted of 6 players, 3 of them being squashies (Sion Wiggin, Michelle Heron and Joanna Shanks).
The Saturday was the teams event, which was closely contested through out the day, it was tied heading into the last event, (tennis) but the New Zealand team managed to win 11-7.
Sunday was a mix of doubles and individuals, Sion and his partner Owen managed to get 2nd in the doubles and Joanna got 2nd in the individuals, with Michelle coming 3rd.
