Last year Squash New Zealand travelled around all Districts and held Roadshow events at clubs to meet with squash players and volunteers. We met with over 250 squash players and received a lot of feedback from you all. This year, by popular demand, we are returning!
Development Director Pennie O'Connor and Squash Director Michael Pittams will be visiting 14 clubs throughout March and April and Chief Executive Jim O'Grady will visit 5 clubs in March. Each Roadshow will cover the following topics...
Squash City Invercargill are the first club in the country to use the integrated iSquash Online Booking and Access system to open their doors to the community by offering Pay2Play whereby keen squash players can book and pay for a court online, and gain access to the courts through the use of a restricted PIN number. We will show you how this works and talk to you about how your club can make this happen.
We are making some big changes to the member management system which will make it easier for clubs to store information about their members, removing the need for many clubs to have various databases, spreadsheets and files. We will demonstrate the new look iSquash, highlighting the new features.
We will be talking about Opening the doors, increasing opportunities to play squash and improving the media profile of squash. And about how together, Squash NZ, the Districts, the clubs and the members can get more people excited about our sport.
